The construction crew has started paving the southbound lane on HWY 1806. Flaggers and pilot cars are out in force which means you're likely to encounter delays if you're heading to our HQ. We'd love to see you, but if you do plan on making a trip to the office plan for a little extra travel time!
How does this affect outage response times?
Good news, it doesn't! When road construction impacts the main access road to our headquarters facility, it can be stressful for our linecrew. Getting stuck in traffic when their priority is to restore your service isn't fun for anyone. Thankfully, our crews are actively working throughout our service territory during the day, which means if they receive an outage call, they can quickly transition from where they are and avoid road construction delays.
