Recipes Wanted!

McKenzie Electric is looking for recipes! As we look forward to celebrating 80 years of service to our rural communities of northwestern North Dakota, we are collecting recipes that will be used to create a recipe book unique to our region and diverse membership. 

Whether it’s your grandparent’s lefse or a hearty German stew, we want to hear from you! As we collect and preserve these unique blends of flavors and traditions that have been passed down through generations, we would also appreciate hearing the stories that go along with those recipes. Your contributions will help us create a collection that not only celebrates our 80-year legacy of providing affordable electricity and reflects the diverse heritage of our membership. Submitted recipes will be formatted into a recipe book that will be made available during the 80th Annual Meeting scheduled from June 3, 2025. 

Here's how to submit recipes: 

  1. Submit a recipe using the submission form

  2. Email recipes@mckenzieelectric.com

  3. Mail recipes to McKenzie Electric Cooperative, PO Box 649, Watford City, ND 58854

  4. Deliver recipes in person at our headquarters location: 3817 23rd Ave., NE, Watford City, ND
