At McKenzie Electric, serving our community means more than just keeping the lights on. It means being ready to step in whenever and wherever help is needed.
Today, a fire started in a field near our office, sparked by farm equipment during dry conditions. Some of our employees noticed the smoke and without hesitation grabbed our water truck and headed to the scene. Working together, they were able to put out the fire before the fire department arrived.
We’re proud of their quick response and teamwork. Their actions helped prevent the fire from spreading and minimized the overall impact. Although not everyone who helped is pictured here, we appreciate each person who stepped up.
This situation reminds us that even with the most careful planning and reliable equipment, accidents are still possible. By staying alert and taking practical steps like cleaning equipment, keeping water accessible, and reporting fires quickly, we can all help keep our community safe.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to Eric, Lee, Sam, Dan, Evan, Zane, Kirt, and Austin who quickly stepped up to help when the fire broke out. Their readiness to act quickly made a real difference, and we are grateful for their dedication to keeping our community safe. Their teamwork and quick response truly reflect the values we hold at McKenzie Electric.
