McKenzie Electric Cooperative Inc.’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce their decision to pass through a bill credit to the membership. MEC received a credit in December from our wholesale power supplier, Basin Electric Power Cooperative. Basin Electric has stated the issuance of the credit is due to their higher-than-expected margin in 2022.

Member bill credits will be determined from billed meter usage (kWh) from January through November 2022. Please refer to the current service detail on your statement (as pictured below) to view your credit information. The current service detail below is a sample of a standard residential service with an electric heat meter.
